He'll go like a bat out of hell at the start and fade again probably. Can't understand why he doesn't try and sit in 3rd or 4th for the first half of the race and save his tyres a bit for the end.

Guven his race-time tyre troubles, Tom certainly gives himself the best possible chance at not wasting rubber getting past people! I really want him to turn this into a win. It's a stunning pole time no doubt, and he's hopefully gonna get some points on the board.

What a stellar time! The rest must be wondering what he eats for breakfast he is just so much quicker over the Superpole lap.

If the setup can be made to work with tyre over a race distance, they won't see him for dust!

Go Tom!

Good on Tom, brilliant. Fortunately, history this year has shown that regardless of qualifying times, the racing is much closer and an excellent show. In fairness though, it might make the championship closer if they offered a point for pole, rather than jut the privilege of bragging rights and starting a meter ahead of P2.

Sykes must be generating so much excitement for the crew at Kawasaki this year! But damn this tire wear thing (or excuse maybe) is getting old. He needs to try something different like others have said. Maybe just chill out and pour the speed on at the end.
