First of many:)

How fast was he down the straights, nothing to do with engine just corner exit speed surely, how late on the brakes but still getting them corners spot on.

Chaz has history with Aprilia, don't want to start the WSB contract argument but if Max retires the champion this year?

I couldn't agree more with these posts, truly fantastic ride and pure class from Davies. I would like to see Davies and Tommy Bridewell in the same team next year.

WOW! and he's Welsh!!! I didn't know there were any good racers from Wales!
Only kidding, but he is the only one I know of.

Excellent race and a well deserved podium, stuffing up Max Biaggi to get there to shows how good this man really is!

Nibbleslang: Welsh Motorcyle Racers
Malcolm Uphill
Jason Griffiths
Ian Lougher (still competitive on the roads ie: IOM TT, Irish Road Races & NW200 etc)
just a few I can think of, anyway Chaz is a star and has got to where he is with determination of his and his family backing, and a team who has belief in thier rider. The likes of Haslem Checa Biaggi Melandi are all from MotoGP racing backgrounds with huge sponsorship backing

I always thought Chaz was a good rider, especially after last year in WSS, but this rider blew me away. Let's not forget that many of us defended Camier's poor showing on the Aprilia as being partly due to his size. Chaz is probably bigger than Leon but he's figured out a way to contort himself onto this machine built for midgets like Max. Amazing performance.

Its worth mention the excellent job that both Chaz and the ParkinGo team have been doing for the las two years. LLAST YEAR they took the Crutchlow title winner R6, shook the dust out of the fairings, put in some engine tuning job, and gave yamaha another WSS title.

Now they start in WSBK, and keep improving consistently with the RSV4, that so many say its purpose made for Biaggi, and tussling at the front for the second time this season. What nex? The WSBK title with a sattelite machine? I hope so.

Its very funny watching Chaz working his body around that tiny bike and get past the works bikes with that amazing riding style, even from the outside of the corners. Best of Luck to Chaz.
