Eugene Lavery reiterates his satisfaction with the Aprilia RSV4 package, but understands his results over the first half of the 2012 season may have left doubt amongst his fans.

He defiantly sound confident and from the result in Aragon it looks like he might have turned the corner in the right direction with the Aprilia, .....................keep fighting Eugene

The problem is not with Laverty, but with Aprilia and their inability to produce two competitive bikes for each race. It happened previously with Camier and now this year with Laverty. Compare the number of dnf's due to machine failure with those of Biaggi. Its about time Aprilia gave both riders the same spec and quality of kit.

i also think its the aprilia but not for some silly reason i think that the aprilia is the best and the fastest bike on the grid but its also the hardest one to find a good setup with i think biaggi is as good as he is because he knows his aprilia like no other laverty needs to continue like he is and results wil come

If a bike could be made to the specifications and dimensions for Biaggi, it would be the Aprilia. Not a criticism for Aprilia or a suggestion they favour Biaggi, but the RSV4 is easily the most tailored-for-one particular rider bike on the grid.

Laverty has shown speed on the bike (it's easy to forget he does have 3 podiums), but it can't be easy adjusting for what must seem like someone elses bike week-in, week-out.

He'll come good, I think there is a win in him this year. Even if Aprilia focus on Biaggi, Laverty is focused enough to do his own thing and still prevail.

I was in Aragon a couple of weeks ago for the last race and it was fantastic to see Eugene fighting off Marco in the second race just to be pipped near the end of the last lap. We met the 2 lads, Eugene and Marco last year in their garage when they were with Yamaha and you couldn't meet two nicer guys.

He's in ameboat as Haslam as they bothered suffered injury setbacks at beginning of year which ended there Title Challenges there and then unfortunatly.

As long as they both injury free next year then they will both be up there fighting at sharp end for title
