This kid is 19 in his 4th race or so, up against talent the likes of Melandri, Biaggi and Checa, and finishes on the podium. Wow won't be surprised if he is a race winner in the future.

I said it after seeing him in SSTK1000 for the first time, that I took back EVERYTHING I had said about him, thinking he was overrated etc... After I saw him race at Monza I thought there was no doubt he would be in SBK in the future... And when you see him on this bike, you see just how good a rider he is.

Very sad circumstances that he had to be there under, but I am sure Joan will be cheering them on.

I hope that people see now though, that even Baz started to fall back when he was running up front, proving it is harder to be at the front and stay there than come forward from the back...

GREAT RIDE YOUNGSTER!!!

I don't think it's so much that Sykes is short as it is, that Baz is freakin' tall as hell. I saw the post race interview and microphone was at about the Kawasaki logo on his leathers. It was right in Sykes' face when he got up there, and Marco had to pull it down to speak into it. The kid is huge. Great result for him, so kudos on a good ride.
