Jonathan Rea, Kosuke Akiyoshi and Takayuki Okada claim victory in the prestigious Suzuka 8 Hours endurance event; Hill and Haga are unable to finish.

Great job by Jonny and all the team! Also something that wasn't mentioned in the right up was Kiyonari crashed out whilst leading as well. The bike was set on fire and completely wrecked! He escaped uninjured but has a few minor burns to the face. Real shame for Kiyo as he was on the a record 5 8 hours wins.

umm Honda shows no loyalty to Rea? how about giving him a test on Caseys RC212V last year? or bringing in the BSB teams Chris Pike to the team specifically on Reas request? or sticking him on the FACTORY HRC bike at this years Suzuka 8 hours or even the one in 2010 because of his loyalty to Honda as a superbike rider??

Rea is the best superbike rider Honda has had in years and they have repayed him faithfully, the japanese engineers and high ups are in awe of his quit hating on Honda like they see Rea as some expendable asset...

Daynal you may be closer to the truth than you know with that comment, rumour has it Johnny will re sign for Honda at Silverstone and Haslam watch this space
