WSBK » Sykes ‘very annoyed’ warnings weren’t heeded

Tom Sykes is disappointed that it took several crashes on a contaminated circuit for race direction to halt the second World Superbike race.

Another keyboard warrior that probably didn't watch the races. It was a weather effected weekend. And where Sykes has got results in the dry as well as the wet, Baz is new and has only gotten results in changeable weather conditions. Now, I'm not saying anything negative about Loris, as his performances are STUNNING thus far. But Sykes has been through plenty and got brilliant results. Maybe you should learn a little bit about these things before criticising so easily.

By your logic, Biaggi is not showing the potential of the Aprilia after yesterday, Checa is not showing what the Ducati can do (Though he is the defending champ)...

Are you mental? did you not watch the Brno races where Sykes pushed Melandri to the limit and also have you not noticed that he is 3rd in the championship? Massive talent and there is no question he will be wanted to be back at Kawasaki next year.

I WONDER would they have stoped the race as quick if it had been Laverty who was the faller and was protesting with Sykes lying 2nd in the race.??? I DOUBT IT..

Great performances by Baz. But i don't think he will beat Sykes in the dry just yet. I Wonder who will be Sykes team mate next year. It was a real shame the weather ruined the Silverstone round Sykes was definitely on for a win in dry conditions.

I have no problem with Tom Sykes but suspect he wouldnt be taking this stance if he had been further up the order in a position to take a victory. Hes not normally a moaner but I guess the pressure of having a team mate who is getting better results doesnt help.

I have said it before, as a Kawasaki fan, Tom clearly is not showing the winning potential of the zx10r.
I have no problem with Tom, but nobody talks last year, it was the same (without the winning potential) beated to the line by Lascorz. Great guy but not a champion...

Big shout from PT10R and few others. but not needed. Sykes is a hard rider and the rubber side of things don't last because of the nature of his racing style it's that simple. He's doing his best, support the rider not the brand.

Tom has had a bad weekend, so did a lot of the other riders that we are all used to seeing battleing it out at the front.
I was at silverstone yesterday and the weather was unpredictable. Tom even started from pit lane due to last minute changes (unlike BMW).

Give the guy a break, Kawasaki supporters haven't had so much fire in their bellies for years until Tom Sykes started getting results aboard the ZX10R.
