WSBK » Form man Melandri eyes Biaggi scalp

If Marco Melandri out-scores Max Biaggi by 10.5 points in Russia - as he did at Brno and Silverstone - he will become the new leader of the World Superbike Championship.

Of course, we are talking about man only second to Rossi in his prime. With him and Spies, BMW could have one of the strongest lineups in the history of the WSBK. Still hoping Max wins the title this year tho :)

its clear Melandri is ready to risk it and is hungry for some redemption, Max, not so much, Max will unfortunately keep settling for positions off the podium and lose to the superior bike/rider combination. The only thing keeping Melandri from winning this year is a mishap.

I wish I had eurosport, the motogp racing is relatively boring this year, at least in Superbikes there is some battling to watch beyond the third lap, so I'm told.

Good luck Marco in your quest to be World Champion, your talent will prevail and I hope that achieve your goals!

I personally hope we have more than just Melandri taking the fight to Max for these last four rounds.

If Sykes can get some solid podiums, maybe a win or two, and more than one rider at a time steps up and takes points off Max and Marco, we could still be looking at a 4 / 5 way battle for this title!

Nick: Try the Eurosport Player, if it's available in your area. If not, then you can watch some obscure free video streams on the internet, but the quality is mostly quite dismal.

in Silverstone we started to see "scared to win the title" Melandri, the guy with the grid girl fiancee is now aware that he is the favorite to win the titles and, as usual, he's becoming very very emotional, I seriously doubt he is able to race at the top of his form...

WSBK, the best series in the world right now. Great season so far and I can't wait for next year. Spies returns, new Panigale, (new RSV4). Let's hope Tony Elias moves to World Superbike too and hopefully in 2014 Nicky Hayden comes to WSBK. I honestly wish Hayden would give up the dream of thinking he can win in GP and switch to World Superbikes. He's more suited for these bikes anyways. But I can only imagine what the grid will look like in 2 years!!!!
