Damn, now I'm fed up by the lack of power on the Ducati's. It is just pathetic how hard the Ducati riders have to ride just to be parked on that uphill strait! Moving the restrictors will fix that but then the other brands will complain that the Ducatis have an advantage. I must say, even though I like Ducati to run V twins in Superbike I think th eregulation will never make things right...... I hope Checa and David go to an other brand as the Pnigale will suffer in the same way.

I definitely agree, Ducati desperately needs less engine restrictions. They're so penalized right now it's pathetic. Giugliano is a super talent but what can he do on that slouch?

Ducati made their own bed, now they have to sleep in it.

other teams do not complain, they work their asses off and develop race winning machines. Kawasaki was nothing but a back marker few years back. Now look at them. BMW came from no where and developed a race winning machine. Everyone worked for their wins, ducati just upped the displacement and called it racing.

Ducati needs to face facts, L-twins are the past, Inline-4s are the future.

@ as
Other manufactures do complain when/ if the Ducatis are running without restrictors. I think it will a shame if Ducati will switch to V4. I love the sound of the Dwucatis, nothing else sound the same. In addition it is more exciting with several engine configurations.
You see on the Superstock that the Panigale is not dominating the races, so the 1200cc twin vs 1000cc four is working.

I Agree with @as...and ducati wanted the 1200cc twins displacement rule and they got it and lost their special tuning level privileges..the tuning level is now same for all sbk bikes...and the teams running 4cyl are now better because its a better tech...hats off to BMW for bringing a race winning and i hope champion ship winning bike out of nowhere..
