After the start of race one, he was one of the fastest, especially in the first few laps he gained a lot positions and was fighting for 2nd, but then his pace dropped. It was incredible how easily he was overtaken on the long straight by the fast BMWs/Aprilias.

Ducati will allways have the same probleme.. You can put one guy running more then is Dog but that is expensive and dificult to mantain, like it was the 999 vs 999cc 4 cil!! even the 999 was no mach on the straight line..!! The realaty is that is very dificult to make a racing Vwtin be completly better then the 4 cil.. loock at the Penigali the bike its just one more Ducati with nice design and a Big bore, the bike can make more horsepower on the top but is also lossing some of the good midrange torque that one Vtwin have, and still will not run more him top speed then one Bmw or Aprilia.. The riders of Ducati are allways loocking like crasy guys just to Win
