Following a solid debut season with Niccolo Canepa at the helm, Red Devils Roma Ducati secures the backing it needs to possibly expand to two 1199 Panigales for 2013.

The fact that no team has comitted for the 1199 for next year must be worrying. I have heard and read numerous rumours that riders such as checa are refusing to race it next year as it uses the stressed member technology. Checa apparently has already said the bike has no feel or flex from testing.

Rumour has it most potential Ducati teams are waiting to see where the Panigale fits in with the regulations before committing to anything.

Althea are crying off if it doesn't suit them anyway, but I have a feeling they'll struggle to hold onto Checa if they go to the Panigale regardless.

I hear Effenbert Liberty are thinking of going for Aprilia in 2013 and ParkinGO might go the other way (though I think they'll only stick in WSBK if they hold onto Davies). I heard PATA might be taking their sponsorship to an existing team as well, maybe the factory Aprilia team.

Interesting, we hear rumours about the 12 factory and satellite bikes in MotoGP every day, but not much about SBK and CRT.

As for the 1199 Panigale, they go well in SST, I don't really understand why the teams are so reluctant. It was announced to be Ducati's best ever WSB bike.

I read that Michel Fabrizio has been linked to this ride. It would make sense, he's Italian, has experience with Ducati's and will be a good mentor to Niccolo Canepa.

4sure the bike is beautifull and i know that is very dificult to find a true balance between 4 and 2 cilinder bikes.. But for me this is like a novel that will never end, so dont get worried about lossing the Vtwin on this Sport.. At the end Ducati will complain about there limitacion and Wsbk will change the rules to bring Ducati into the top level!! Checa can change Team is free to choose new projects, he also know that is a matter of time until Ducati comes factory again to Wsbk and you guys know that when they come again the rules will allready been favor the Twin again=).. Soon or later Ducati will put the Vtwin has the most competitive package... 4sure they dont like to loss Teams that give then money but They will change again there image when they start to win again on the penigali.. unless this new evolution on the chassi is really sht i dont bealieave on that because was Bayliss the test rider and he know what he talcks but if it is i will laught a lot.. Its fair to say when
