Just 150 points remain on the table for the World Superbike Championship contenders and Carlos Checa needs each one to keep him in the title fight...

I think is not over yet to Carlos!! I remember very well how Nory haga play with Ducati at this track and how Checa also Wins here.. The realaty is that this year Ducati is facing more problems on the straight line but at this track they will hava 100% chances of bring the Win to home. Now we will see if he dont crash or someone dont crash into him, and thats the real risk at this GP will be fun for sure, normaly the 1 corner is Hell on the star of race=)

Come on Vilas

I rate Checa and certainly won't rule him out for next season.

But even if Melandri collides with Tom Syskes and wipes them both out it'll probably go to Biaggi.
Its a done deal for Carlos this year.

Carlos doesnt have last years tires holding back the crowd, cant run away anymore and has to worry about roadblocks (other bikes) in the slow turns, could have never really won this year really, unless some people had some bad luck. Last year was a certainty, this year was a gamble.

Last year Carlos rejected a BMW offer and opted to stay on the Ducati.

With Spies apparently turning down the BMW WSBK ride, I wonder if Carlos Checa will become the team mate to Melandri in 2013?
