Rea again riding the wheels off that blade to get this result in race two. watching him pushing on that bike it looks like he's going to crash at every moment. Incredible determination. Who thinks Haslam is going to match him next year on that old bike? It's going to be interesting. Rea's stock is going to rise even more next year. me thinks.

And Johny could've won both races today, but was again unlucky. First in race one came the rad flag when he was clearly biding his time behind the leader in the very wet conditions. Then in race 2 he lost loads of time behind Skyes when he had an engine problem and as a result Laverty built a very large lead. I couldn't believe Rea was still able to close all that gap. Amazing rider!

I believe Jonathan Rea new he was only getting a run out for two moto gp meetings and olso was 99% sure he would be in world supers for 2013. I said after the 8 hour he was aware of what honda had on the table for him.
While i think he is a good rider i do not think he is that good for the honda moto gp team.
This is my honest asessment.

so whats the chances of hondas much talked about rcv 1000 coming out next year,(apparently they are working flat out on it),rea talks about exciting things in pipeline for 2013,and we can now assume its not motogp,so is it the all new fire breathing dragon, rcv 1000 super, superbike,to take on aprilia, bmw etc,in next yrs wsbk title ?

If Crutchlow belongs to MotoGP, then Rea too. In his WSBK career he's never been defeated by his teammates, in fact, he's always been totally superior to them - and he was against likes of Checa, Kiyonari or Aoyama. That really means something.

There has never been any doubt in my mind as to how good a rider Jonathan Rea is and he showed it once again on Sunday!! I don't think Jonathan is fazed by the so called glory of riding in MotoGP and much prefers the close racing in WSB where he can battle for wins and enjoy it! MotoGP is always just about the top 3 or 4 riders and Jonathan is too good to be giving his all mid pack. I am happy Jonathan will still be in WSB next year as for me it is by far the best racing because of riders like him! Well done Jonny.

@Yahearditfirst... - New V4 Honda for 2014 confirmed in todays edition of MCN - there's about 6 pages on it - supposed to be a modern day RC30 / 45.

But MCN said Honda might not build enough for it to qualify to compete in WSBK - not sure what the homologation numbers are now, but beleive they are higher than when the previous Japanese homologation specials came out.
