Bullsh.t,

He has the mentality of a bad club racer.
Unfortunately he is immensly talented when it comes to actual riding ability, very very good.

His problem is, once his addrenalin is up on Sunday he cannot control his actions, the passes he's goes for are amature or rather the timing of them are, hence the club racer comment.

If someone could do some sort of mental job on him he would be a proppa force.

Haslam is very similar but unfortunalty for him nowhere near as fast.

It could be because his bird is giving him a complex.

Yet another 'Melandri' pass, only this time it didn't work out so well for him did it now.

I don't understand where its come from because I don't remember him ever being so wild in GPs?

He did this exact type of move on Rossi at Motegi in 2005. It really bugged me people blamed VR at the time and he himdelf took the blsme when it was clear Melandri was choping off apexs regardless of whos there like he does now.

Well deserved outcome this year after all his dirty passes. Borrd of his mrs' fsce too. Evil looking woman.
Hope Biaggi and melandri share the podium when msx lifts the crown. Will be funny watching the body language!

@ beatz
totally 110% agree as I've been turned right off Melandri more and more with his dirty dangerous passes even his own teammates. He dirtied laverty last year on the R! a few times and plenty of others and done exactly the same this year to Haslam.
granted WSBK is wilder than MotoGP in so far as closer racing but that doesn't give freedom to block pass / run folks off track at high speed.
Sad to see a high % of passes have been late late late on the brakes and block passing - not much skill in that.
Would understand if this is how he rode and tackled Biaggi with their history but not out of the box with everyone. maybe some kind of statement be it motoGP God Like ego dropping down to WSBK and piddling on the rest of the field !!! who knows

This isn't all as it seems. I played this back a few times and from one angle you can clearly see Biaggi tighten his line after the apex, it's at that point where Melandri looses the front. It looks to me like Melandri has tried one his usual iffy passes where there isn't really a gap and Biaggi closed the door.

I just think it is one those racing incidents that could be blamed on one of a couple of riders. Marco maybe has too much pressure on him and needs to calm himself down a bit and take things easy instead of trying to get to the front in the first couple of yards! None of them wants to crash out, but in that split second a bad move is made with dire consequences - that's racing!!!

Yeah im also sick of seeing his mrs pounting her way around the garage every 10 minutes.

She has that 'dead behind the eyes' kinda look... scary!

I love how people bag Melandri here but when a certain Mr Rea comes up he can do no wrong, no matter how often he screws up a pass and ends up colliding with another rider!
