only idiots doubt a consistent observation based on a somewhat logical conclusion. Tom cant make the Pirelli tires work this year, just like the rest of the field minus Checa last year. Its not his fault, its the fact that you have one kind of tire to fit a whole range of different potentials.

If Tom wants his tires to last, hes gonna have to setup his bike to go slower. So far all I see is a bike thats going to drop back mid race, unless Pirelli give him special tires, or bring a tire to this race thats stiffer and can handle the loads of this bike.

@ Banditfan

And don't forget he knows this track, like he knew Portimao. He did two Superstock 1000 races on these two tracks last year. Hope he'll be back next year, a shame that there will be only a few available places.

Tom hasnt won one an outright race in the dry yet. Keep dreaming, and pay better attention.

2011 - Nurburgring-Race 2 (wet)
2012 - Monza (8 laps) -- Classified dry, but there were damp parts all over the track
2012 - Moscow-Race 1 (wet)
2012 - Portimao-Race 1 (wet)
