Next year could well be his year to take the WSBK title- ex-MotoGP riders have been doing very well in that regard over the last few years (Checa, Biaggi twice).

Melandri and BMW we're probably the best combination this year, but for some really boneheaded mistakes on Marco's part. 5 no scores in the last 6.races

What was he thinking then when he raced at Nurburgring then.
Rookie errors cost him the title and to speak like this after the last round is over, is laughable to say the least.

Marco are you sure it was a wet patch you hit and not another invisible bike in front of you. Eurosport showed a replay of his collision with Biaggi from the last round and how after following him into the corner how he could claim he hadn't seen him beggars belief.
