"Average rider on a poor bike trying to emulate a team mate whos ability places the bike higher than it ever should be"....That has to qualify as the stupidest comment ever on Crash. You may have had your tongue buried too far inside JR's rear to notice that he hasn't won WSBK yet. In fact his highest placing is 4th overall compared to Haslam's 2nd to Biaggi. I could go on, but compare their records side by side and I for one do not see Rea dominating Haslam.

Only people who dont know much about motorcycle racing or motorbikes in general would say anything bad about the CBR.. Isle of Man domination, Suzuka 8 hour and even BSB.. Ten Kate is basically a private team but with HRC on their side you can expect to see the Blade fighting for wins all next season.

You should perhaps have a look. You'll find that Rea has won 10 races in his SBK career and Haslam has merely the 3, that he won in 2010. Rea incidentally, won 4 races that year.

Not that it actually matters much, the current model CBR1000RR didn't exactly set the world alight when it was introduced and the passing of time has done it no favours. It'll be another long year for Ten Kate regardless of who's on the bike.

"You should perhaps have a look."...I did have a look, and here's what I found. JR last 4 years in WSBK 5th,4th,9th,5th. LH last 4 years in WSBK 6th,2nd,5th,7th. I don't see how that means Rea dominates Haslam at all. Perhaps you can explain it to me? Factor in too that Haslam had to deal with a poor bike in the early BMW and a second string CBR before that. Rea is a great rider, but there's no way that he's going to dominate Haslam.

@PatrickD !
I think you and a lot of other people are going to be shocked next year . Either Haslam or Rea will win the title next season . This year should of been Tom's but it didn't happen . I also think it won't be Jonny Rea with the No1 at the end of the season . I don't know if you read the Motorcycle News but they had a write up of Haslams test and apparently he was lapping faster than the fastest lap in the last race at Assen after just seven laps . The man has come home .
