It is being reported on gpone that Guintoli had only signed a contract of intent subject to conditions & ratification by both sides.

If this is the case it is not a binding contract merely an agreement from both sides that subject to no other factors ( such as say other offers to a rider or other riders becoming available ) a full contract would be signed.

If no full contract was signed either party, Guinters or Denning can simply choose not to go ahead with no fault or penalty.

" Just read on Bikesportnews site that Biaggi and Checa are both out at Aragon testing for their existing teams, so who the hell knows what's happening?

regarding the Checa/Biaggi situation, It was already stated by Dall'Igna, that no decision would be taken either way till after the Aragon test. (hence why the Wsbk merry go round is still circulating)

cant think guintoli would have given a certain ride with fixi for a uncertain deal with aprilia.suspect there is a ducati deal in the offering somewhere

I think Josh Waters will do a great job in WSBK he is well and truly ready for the world scene. It was a great choice by the team. Go Josh

I always thought that Guintoli has a great potential and he should look for a factory team and the possibility of Biaggi leaving Aprilia does open a door for him. Or if it's the factory Ducatti, it's the same. But, if he signed the contract with Fixi Crescent Suzuki, then I think that Denning is right to go public as a team boss in order to clarify things and also I think that they should take a legal action against Guintoli if he put pen to paper. Although I think that for his future career Guintoli made a good decision to not go to Suzuki (i don't think they can give him a potential winning bike), from a legal point of view he should support the consequences of his act.
I'm surprised that Fixi have not signed Josh Brookes (as Guintoli's replacement)as he proved he can go WSBK. Maybe Josh decided to stick to his engagements.

Dont forget that the 3rd Aprilia seat has been vacant for some weeks after Chaz signed for BMW.
Pata are off to Honda, so there may be a "spare" bike without a team.

Cant see that Ducati are gonna get rid of Guiliano although there is a possibility that, given the history, Ducati could 'come good' for Guinters.

I'd like to see SG reunited with PD but, if theres a better offer then, SG has gotta look out for No1.
I understand PDs frustration but its just one of those things. Im sure if the boot was on the other foot he'd be saying something entirely different.

Nique - isn't Michel Fabrizio on the "3rd" Aprilia with Red Devils Roma who've switched from Ducati? I know Aprilia may decide to support more bikes though.
