I hope Baz starts closing the gap in terms of timings on Tom soon. Kawasaki need two bikes at the sharp end next year to improve their chances of a championship winner.
I still think they would have been better off with Shakey!

Baz will be there, he is young and this level is still a new game for him, he has no silver spoon and had really had to do it the hard way, proper old school. With Tom for a team Mate he has to aim high, this is 'THE' team for 2013. Gutted Guintoli dod not sign for Suzuki but fingers crossed they keep Camier flying at the front as he deserves a break and a proper crack at the title. Boy that 1/2 pount is hurting me, cant imagine how much it wrankles with TS, he deserved that the boy did, cmon Syksey!

"...while Checa and Davide Giugliano had reason to be encouraged by the Panigale's first group outing in seventh and eighth."

Crash.net are you sure you ment ENcouraged? DIScouraged would be more at place. Only Hoffman and Waters were slower.
New bike, no 6kg's extra...

re: "The third day of testing was disrupted when Carlos Checa's new Ducati 1199 Panigale locked up on the home straight and dropped a significant amount of oil. Necessitating a lengthy clean-up operation"

see, this is why you guys needed to design and fit an enclosed belly pan and needed to conduct SEVERAL tests in private. you KNOW there are things that are going to need sorting. opening day at WDW plus a handful of BSB and superstock teams still aren't going to equal chubbs at 10/10ths chasin' "the chinner".
