It will be interesting to see if the Panigale in WSB form will have any issues it had with the frame in Motogp. I would guess the aluminium monocoque frame would be less problematic at the slower WSB speeds hence less of an issue. But the added top speed and lower weight will help it be competitive w/the I-4 and Aprilia's v4.

re: "That's a one sick bike! Look at the exhaust"

well therein lies the problem, you SHOULDN'T be able look at the exhaust. (woop woop! safety alert! safety alert!)

re: "The back wheel look like it isn't even attached to the bike."

just got a text from berger... he told me tell you... "beware what you wish for"...."especially so with the frameless panigale". let's just hope it doesn't come to that.

re: "If ducati are not willing 2 put enough in for 2 riders then they are not seriose about winning in wsb."

a flammini controlled WSBK...? yes. a WSBK now under the thumb of ezpelata...? perhaps not. they are already getting their fill of him over in GP's.

Problem is not exhaust pipes it's the exhaust's expansion chamber right under the seat where it roasts your but-t it's probably worse or just as bad as when the exahuasts where under the tail. But for racing it's probably not much of an issue but for the general rider that uses it on the streets it another roaster.

Biaggi will ride for Ducati factory Alstare next year, and be in charge of the new bike development.

Althea was the main obstacle to that, now they're gone...

Batta deal is not official yet, they're waiting Biaggi's press conference on wednesday. Biaggi was not happy with Aprilia investments for the future, so he flipped the switch.

its hard for me to believe that Max would jump ship, when Aprilia is one of the primary reasons why hes attained what he has. Too hard to see him making the same mistake as Rossi.
