Can't imagine this is anything other than a done deal.
No other significant teams running Ducati's next season so it is either Alstare or they will have to commit to a full factory team, with all the extra cost that involves.

hope there a good team next year, but some difficult...
Checa and Guinters soo good, Alstare soo good,
curious Guintoly trouble with Suzuki open the door for Cluzel, very good rider too

I would suggest ducati to start early testing for this new bike with alstare in order to be ready for the first race. If guintoli goes to aprilia, soe rumours, then a young gun on this new bike ...have you an idea ?

as I already said, they're waiting for Biaggi's press conference on Wednesday, which will announce the Batta-Biaggi agreement to run with the Ducati next season.

Bevilacqua was the main obstacle between the Ducati-Biaggi project, now he's out of the way...

The alternative is that Biaggi will announce retirement, and there will be one factory ride available, after Guintoli will sign for Aprilia or Ducati...

Guintoli knew something was going on with both Aprilia-Ducati, that's why he broke the agreement with Suzuki despite the fact there wasn't any visible factory ride available...

Everything rotates around Biaggi decision, which didn't find an agreement to continue with Aprilia (discussions have been going on since last summer...)
