WSBK » COMMENT: Who should replace Biaggi?

The champion's bike is available for one lucky rider, but who do you think should replace the retiring Max Biaggi for the 2013 World Superbike Championship?

@ WTF "Wow so Hayes was battling Mladin, was that after Spies handed him his ass because he was over the hill? You honestly think he could come to the UK and win? I would gladly have some of what you are smoking."

I think the point that was being made was that Riders that have come out of the AMA series have competed extremeley well on the world stage producing multiple world chsampions. Both Doug Polen and Ben Spies having won the WSBK title on their maiden seasons no to mention Fred Merkel Multiple WSBK Titlist, Scott Russell WSBK Titlist, Colin Edwards Multiple WSBK Titlist, Eddie Lawson 4 Moto GP Titles,Wayne Rainey 3 Moto GP Titles, Kevin Schwantz 1 Moto Gp title, Freddie Spencer %00 and 250 in one year moto gp titles, Kenny Roberts 3 MGP titiles, Kenny Jr 1 MGP title.

@WTF Id suggest that you do your homework before opening your mouth as your Opinions obviously outweigh your knowledge about American riders.

Nice Super Soldier.. Its very true America allways bring somethingh speciall!! Ben was great at Wsbk, he beat one of my favorit riders that was Riding the super Ducati Nitro Haga, one bike that was overall the best bike but Ben and the new Yamaha really show great talente, Its a pity this year at Motogp but he can still be competitive..

Respesct for all Americans riders that come to Europe..

I would love to see the ride going to Tommy Hill. The guy is pure class and the move he put over Hopper to win last years BSB was one of the bravest, most audacious overtakes in the history of motorcycle racing. Tommy is a great team player, has huge talent and it's about time he moved to WSB!

How about AMA's Hayes if Guinters and Bandovini aren't available. Make Laverty the #1 rider and Hayes would be a good #2. Sign him for two years, 1 yr to learn the tracks and yr 2 to challenge. Yes he's old but fast.

Motojack I get your point but Edwards is a has been. He's been mailing it in for the last 3 or 4 years. I think that spark went out when he blew up the Cube. Time for Edwards to head back to the ranch in Tx to shoot his guns.

Soldier I think the best guy would have been Ben Spies to replace Biaggi but he's under contract with Ducati satellite. I'm sure he'll wish he considered WSB by the end of next year but understand the desire to stay in the big show.
