WSBK » COMMENT: Who should replace Biaggi?

The champion's bike is available for one lucky rider, but who do you think should replace the retiring Max Biaggi for the 2013 World Superbike Championship?

alright i've decided. since he's already in place, the easiest thing is to (YES) give it to norge. haga in 2nd position. what i mean is... what the hell, let's give him a year of full support and let's see what propping up an irishman can do for both the factory and the series. piaggio can spare a single year of coin to find this out. honestly, it's the only way we're going to know instead of having to guess at it. the burden now falls to the fan-sumers to do their part and close the loop on the economics. "good luck" (albanian kidnapper on the phone voice).

This America v Britain is just petty, both countries have produced a great number of Champions. But Josh Hayes is just too old, Aprilia won't want a 37 year old after Biaggi. And i would say that American racing isn't at a low point but all the racers are too reluctant to leave, not sure if it's because they get good money in the States or they just don't want to leave home. Financially though us Brits are ****ed, all the racers want to leave as soon as they can and get a good ride in another country. As for the Aprilia ride put Alex lowes on it :)

Why all the zombies like Edwards, Haga, etc...? Spies or Hill would be a reasonable choice, but the first one is already under the MotoGP Ducati contract and the second one is taking a sabbatical. For me, it's about the two perspective Italians, Giugliano or Badovini. And Giugliano is younger and quicker so he should get it.

Its a shame Chas davies signed for BMW he would have been perfect for this, guintoli would be good in the wet but an also ran in the dry!Haga is a has been i would like to see Alex Lowes on the machine he is a balls out racer who would ring the neck off it and as yet unsigned in BSB, SMRZ is a safe bet he even managed to get the Aprillia on the front row in BSb!!but who knows?perhaps some little known Italian superstock rider will come in and spank the **** of all the established riders!!javascript:insertTextCursor('comment', ':?')
