Max Neukirchner completes three days of testing aboard the Ducati 1199 Panigale he is expected to race in the 2013 World Superbike Championship.

Not sure you can say Max wasn't the same after the Checa collision at Valencia... he hadn't won a race up to that point but proceeded to win 3 races thereafter and finish 5th in 2008 standings.

It was the Monza crash where things seemed to unravel, though the only SBK he rode after that was the Ten Kate Honda, which is proving a bit of a poisoned chalice at the moment for most people, so perhaps that wasn't a great indicator of form.

Either way, it's great to have Max back!

He was unconsistant on a proven bike, did b'ggerall in moto2, shoulda, woulda coulda but didn't and probably still won't, waste of a good Ducati, send him home so he can fight for the German title with another waste of a good world super bike Carl Muggeridge, give the bike to someone reliably quick, maybe Bryan Staring...
