'He [Guintoli] could be a reasonable choice to partner with Laverty. Everything will depend on what we decide in the coming hours' - Gigi Dall'Igna

It is 36 cubik, thats whatFlamini was bragging about a couple of years ago, but hasn't had that for years. Motogp restricted it to 24 in 1997, then restricted Moto2 and Moto3 to 36 after the crzy grid of 40.

My takes on the previous comments:
1. If Athena chooses Kawasaki over Aprilia, then Ginters will join Gigi &company at Aprilia for more exposure.

2. With the new appointment at Ducati Corse, WSBK has lost it "Ducati-inside-advantage". I for one do not believe that Carmen E. will ruin WSBK as it shifts back closer towards a production series. WSBK has too good of a structure/formula (in this economic environment) and will therefore be much harder to kill-off than saving Moto GP.

I am a 50 year old died in the wool WSBK bigot and proud of it, I am on the fence in relation to Ezpeletta, remember WSBK is now part of the same business, he will not want to break it, I do think that the biggest step forward that could be made in WSBK in relation to returning to the late 80's - mid 90's glory years when the grids were full of dealer teams would be to introduce claiming rights as is the case in CRT.

I thought I read a French article that said that Sylvain was also looking at BSB (that he'd rather race at the front in BSB than midfield in WSB), but I can't find it now.

"but we just have to figure out the make-up of the team." - This looks like sheer vanity, it really doesn't matter which make-up they wear, it's speed that counts. Also you have to ask yourself if WSBK teams should be wearing make up at all, it just looks strange on men and makes the pits look like a pantomime.

re: "I'm so scared for Sylvain. I don't trust Aprilia and Dall'Igna. There's something wrong, the agrement take too long"

no there's nothing wrong. it's like i said, there is simply no replacing someone of max's notoriety. it was one thing to throw money at the campaign when he was in-house...? but with CRT being a flop, they now have to think hard about the economics of propping up both an irishman and a frenchman. even combined, they don't equal up to 1 max biaggi.
