Great respect to Max (Biaggi) but the WSB Rider of the year is simply Tom Sykes. Full stop. That he missed winning the WSB title by a mere half point was almost tragic but that he did it on a Kawasaki was nothing short of extraordinary.

Sylvain guintoli for all thats gone off with liberty winning is first race with them and to join pata and what a fantastic job he did with them winning 2times plus all the podiums and i think hes the only rider to be with two teams in the same year and win for both of them can i say more then that

shaken........with all due respect to Sykes, fantastic rider and great effort. But lets see what Sykes is doing when he is 41 years old.........
Biaggi without a doubt the best of the season but closely followed by Sykes and that is reflected in the points.......

Chaz Davies, stunning rookie compaign, on a bike way to small for him.

Sylvain Guintolli, started great, got dumped on, then went back to the highs of the start of the campaign.

Max Biaggi, on a single weekend he was the top rider this year, Misano and Phillip Island were something else. Nurburgring pole and race 1 were pretty awesome too.

Melandri impressed me with multiple race wins on the BMW including it's maiden one, pity he faded in the latter stages but they will be there or thereabouts next season, hope Davies adapts quickly too and am sure he will given the variety of machinery he has been on over the last few years
