Well, that can't hurt his chances at all....

Could this be pretty much signed, sealed and delivered?

Haslam looking good, but I won't get excited. Xaus was fast at HIS first tests on the Honda too. Hopefully Ten Kate can get TWO bikes working this time round.

Looking good for Guintters then :)

Thou Laverty tested well too, but took him a while to really do well in the races.

Why did Sykes and Baz not have the transponders?

Haslam fast has expected and no novice to the Blade.

Guinters stands a chance for the c/ship and with long odds I may have a tickle just gonna wait to see how fast Chaz is on that one

Of course Sykes is gonna be the cover bet.

To all of the above posters, and those to follow...no doubt!

Let's all not get too excited about lap times and who is faster than who. These sessions are all about going as quick as you can in the prevailing conditions - i.e., weather, tyre choice, bike set up for new riders, suspension settings, fuel load, need I go on? All but to say, all of these riders - no matter what bike /team will be giving 100% to set the bike for season '13. So at this stage, let's not get too excited.

Don't forget this is testing. Ginters will most likely be just out there getting used to the bike and setting times, whereas Norge was actually testing things, so will not be chasing times but running a fraction under to test it all.

Lets hope he gets the seat as the competitive riders on competitive bikes the better it is for us sitting on the sofa.

Dont forget this is testing, stupid comment to make on a mid winter Wednesday morning.
The day the bookies allow me to stake my money after the race is the day when I stop making predictions and stop needed to go to work on Monday mornings.

@ mrreferee

No one is getting carried away... All we're pondering is whether he'll actually get the ride. Beside that, it's nice to see he seems to gel with the bike. Again, as stated MANY times in the past, I am quite sure MOST here understand the difference between a race weekend and a test, yet, again, as stated MANY times in the past, teams will NOT waste the incredible amounts of time and money involved in testing and putter around at half pace. They need to know if their new parts work at speed, not at a cruise. Yes, they won't be pushing for a lap record, but they will be running a decent pace. As for Guinters, I'm sure a decision is probably pending on his performance here. So he needs to show he can get on with the bike.
