Interesting that Skes used race tyres all of the test unlike the rest that slipped in qualifiers to get a time at the end. how do I know you may ask, well I was lucky enough to be there.

Got to say I'm looking forward to WSBK next season (more than MotoGP). There's a lot of interest and lots of competition, and the status quo could well shift as there's a few fast guys who've switched seats.
Looking forward to seeing how Sykes, Laverty, Guintoli and Davies in particular go in 2013.

Eugene's best lap was on a Q tyre, however he was exactly the same as Tom on a race tyre, (1:40.4).
Guintoli was close behind but the rest of the guy's where miles off!
The Honda's at 1:42.0 (best), especially need to go back and do some head scratching!

@Talent

I agree with all you say...and obviously Dorna has taken notice. With that I fear for what they will do to the series in 2014, being that they now own it. Enjoy 2013 as it will be the last year of pure WSBK racing before they go in and change things. Stealing the attention from the "Premiere" class is something they most likely won't let happen for too long I imagine. I could be wrong but I don't have a good feeling...
