If you look at the 2013 WSBK grid, there are lots of guys who have proved they are fast & can win races, on lots of capable bikes ... but there aren't too many that have a history of producing a full championship contending season, even at a national level. Not like both Biaggi & Lorenzo did this past year.

It should make for exciting racing & maybe a closely fought title in the the end, so no complaints here!

@ cobra performance brake lines
that's what wsb was meant to be when it started all those years ago, it got out of hand, you had manufactures building it as a race bike first then making a dumbed down version for the road, it was meant to be the other way around so really there going back to the true sprit of wsb

""The only thing that he played with 3 different manufacturers...not really a gentleman. But that's typical rider's attitude. Posted by giulio"
Sorry @giulio, but you've got it all wrong. Yes, he did ride for three teams in 2012, but that was not his choice. Effenbert broke their contract with him, and from then he had to take rides whenever and wherever they were offered.
With Max retired, and Checa having a disappointing 2012, we will see Guintoli, Laverty and Sykes visiting the podium regularly.
Johnny Rea and Leon Haslam have to pray that Ten Kate get the Fireblade on the pace from the start, otherwise they may find their WSB careers fading.

All i will say is Guintolli must have some very good sponsors,
Seems like the Aprilla needs a new engine every race, do Rotax still make Apilla engines??
