Given the dogs he's had to ride in GPs and supers and the dodgy finances, offset by his obvious talent he's deserved a good ride don't you think?

Personally, i think the dude has talent and can win the title if he has a consistent year. First we need to see how he adapts to the Aprilia. Remember, he jump from one Ducati to another in 2012 so the transition was easy enough...he did pretty good on the Suzuki but shined on the ducati... so it really depends if he gels with the Aprilia...
I hope he will be on the pace and in every round. However to be honest, I am backing Sykes!! but if Guinters win... I will not be mad, the dude has been working his butt off to show he is worthy of this ride!! and possibly the title! i guess that is true of all these great competitors!

The posters on here trying to knock Guinters, although being causious not to fully slag him because they can see how popular he is...

The reason he has had inconsistancy and injury in the past is because his ability far out weighed the equipment he was on. The fact that you are trying to knock his ability prooves only two things, you either are very new to the sport or as said earlier are deliberatly trying to put him down.

To me Biaggi was a F..g legend and definately one of the greatest natural talents in a long time. Don't spout rubbish about Guinters not being good enough to fill those boots. Do you honestly think Aprilia knows less than you? Do you not think they realised how good Max was and how good his replacment needs to be. Wake up

This is one of the best storeys in racing for a long time, FINALLY a rider who DESERVS a break has got one, Go Guinters.

Well, as they say about the proof of the pudding...

I think Guinters on a truly TOP bike now will show his true potential. What a great break this is for him!!!!

As for all the guys had so much to say when he dropped Crescent... Can you honestly tell me you would've gone with Crescent if this was your other option?!?!

Go Guinters.

Theres no such thing, all that sh..t has come from riders getting their ****s handed to them by a master.

In all fairness to Camier everything was new then and they were putting most of the effort into Max to start because they obviusly were thinking of the marque.

These two will start next season as equals it makes no sense to Aprilia to do anything else.
