He seemed destined to be the next big Italian motorcycle racer after coming 2nd in the Rookies Cup in 2007 and then winning the Italian and European 125 Championships on 2008 (not in 2007 as is reported). But when he got on the world stage in 2009 he seemed to not be able to take it to the next level and crashed to much. Maybe he was just to tall for the 125 by then. But I agree with the comment above, awesome name!

Yes, and as addition to the ones above, he was clearly the favourite in the Barni Ducati-team before last season, but La Marra simply kicked his back half.

Maybe this season, Staring showed that Pedercini machine can make surprises.

Hopefully Savadori will be more in control of the Pedercini Kawasaki than he is at the moment with his razor!

His Dad (in the background) still hasn't mastered the art!
