Donington was not Rea's fault. The BMW crew should NOT have been racing each other so hard and knocking each other off the racing line.

Melandri's crashed WAY TOO MANY TIMES this year. Was that the bike? Or the rider?

I agree with Jiri, no championship with Melandri in the saddle. (then again, I'm a Honda fan).....

Missingthe500s do'nt agree, of course the should have been racing, thats why its called racing, for me Rea is a great talent but takes way to many risks. It was Rea that went for a gap that was not there, hit Haslem who knocked off Melandri. If a BMW had won it waould have been a huge deal for the rider as the first to win a race on the BM. As it turned out Melandri claimed that honour and many more. He is a class act and, in my humble opinion, the best rider there.

Czx agree totally but Maxs lady didn't look to bad.
Cracks me up when Jack Buricle talks about the women in pit lane but he has a wierd taste when it comes to some ofthe Uk rider missus. No names but sometimes what Jack calls beautiful wouldnt look out of place with an apple in their mouths.

Anyone that thinks this guy can't win the Championship is crazy, this guy is a sure-shot for the podium every single race. I'm a Sykes fan but I'm also a realist and I know Melandri is no fluke. I expect 2013 to be a fantastic year for WSBK...

Then comes the "Dorna Era"... bleh.

Melandri is one of the best riders in WSB and once he learns to stop crashing he'll be the rider to beat. But that said, Checa, Sykes and Guinters will not make it easy. The BMW was formidable and with additional time by Melandri and team to further develop it this year I'm sure it will be a very good contender next season.

Tom Sykes is my 2012 WSBK Champion thought he was jerked with half points in that rain race.
Melandri although quite competitive was a cannon ball to his fellow riders and we don't need that.
Can't be punting people off the track every race.
