@ Rossi lover
Did you watch the donnington race? If you did you'll remember seeing marco make lunge after lunge, it was only a matter of time before he came a cropper in that race and that particular incident was all started by yet another rash lunge by mellandri.
if I was haslam I'd be glad to be away from bmw and marco in particular, you just don't consistently pull dodgy moves on your team mate (unless you are marco) . It was obvious that haslam was not going to be kept on for 2013 when melandri kept pulling the same moves and wasn't reprimanded for it, I only hope leon gets his own back now they are in different teams.

I actually think that BMW did quite a simmilar move to ditching Marco from the squad. They dissolved the factory team and moved him into a semi-factory formation. I am sure he is not too excited about that.It is in fact a sign that the factory is not that enthusiastic about the results.

Rea hit more people than Melandri. In fact, most of Melandri's passes were harsh, but contact was rarely made. He didn't hit Haslam. Late, desperate move, Yes, but he did get past for a moment with no contact. It was opportunist Rea taking a risky dive that caused that one - remember his dive up the inside of Sykes? Not that I blame him, I imagine he does all he can to get that dog 'Blade near the front!

Realfan, completely disagree, Melandri's passes were harsh but fair,he rarely made contact and was clearly the fastest rider. As for the Donnington crash, Melandri was going for the win, ill advised but again he hit no one, it was Rea that made contact with Haslem.

Jiri, you really must stop taking drugs, BMW disbanded the team due to Melandris riding- Priceless.
Haslem was completly overshadowed by Melandri and was not offered a new contract. Melandri is a class act and rode that BMW like no one else could.

Whatever ..... that's a bl00dy different tune to the one Melandri was hooting at the start of 2012.

And Rossi Lover you must have been watching a different series than we were because all too often Melandri was one of the most dangerous men on the track.

@Rossi Lover..
BMW backed off as usually. They hate to provide full support without taking the plaudits. Might be a sign of their attention shifted in a new (different) direction. I would think may be MOTO GP.

Marco says it takes top team top bike top rider to win a championship.
so when you were getting paid more and were Ducati's golden Italian boy how come you were so often the bottom end of a Ducati sandwich.

Sykes fought above his weight, Marco just blew the opportunity gifted to him. And guess what? In my opinion, from what I saw this year, it will not get any easier than it could have been this year. Rookie errors cost him, nothing else.
