Tom Sykes: I have heard some comments from people that there was my chance gone, but I do not look at it like that...

Both Marco and biaggi made 2 many mistakes this year, but Sykes was always there in qualy. No idea if lack of race pace is him or the bike, maybe putting shaky on it would give the team the answers. But I think his team mate next season will inconsistent due to his age, but will be a front runner.

The ZX10 is now a seriously quick bike. It won BSB and probably should have won in WSB in the end. Next year is a big opportunity for Sykes and Kawasaki with Checa and Ducati struggling with the new Panigale and Biaggi retiring. I think Melendri will prove too strong though.

Go on the Grinner and Team Green!!!

Any lack of pace in the races in 2012 was in my humble opinion nothing to do with Mr Sykes and soley the way the bike managed its tyres.

There's certainly nothing wrong with its outright pace, proved time and again not only in qualifying but also a great deal of early race laps.

Roll on 2013!!!

Racing being what it is it wouldnt be suprising to see Tom get an off season injury or crash in testing and miss the first few races like many have done. I hope not though and would love to see him take wins and the title next year.

Unfortunately without Biaggi to rattle his cage and the top Italian issue to worry about, I think Melandri will be strong and breeze to the title. Probably doing those silly block passes of his the whole time too.

Why would putting shakey on it help? What has shakey actually achieved at world level? He's not worthy of cleaning toms boots. Shakey has had a number Of chances at world level and has blown every single one.

If the Kawa keeps going well and improving as it did during 2012, there is no reason to Sykes not to be considered one of top favourites. Melandri will be another one - and some 2 or 3 more will add to the count in true WSBK spirit.

i'll raise you all one better, i not only predict "the Chinner" will win the 2013 title outright, but he'll do it 1 round early and in the process will beat spies pole position record...! on the new 17" hoops, the Zed is adapting faster than the BM. come magny cours (same as lorenzo did for biaggi), i further call "the Chief" scott russell will attend to witness K-heavy take this historic 2nd WSBK title. this, 20 years on from when they first won it (1993). wait, just in, a text from some rube named Muzzy rsvp'ing "save me a seat...!" :D kawasaki and france, there's a bit of a ring to it innit...!? time stamp: 12/15/12.
