Im sure this guy could do a bit better if he was on a different bike like many say, but the fact is he has always crashed. A lot. He crashes too much to be a championship contender.

You could also argue his wins werent outright wins as again Ten Kate tested at Assen just beforehand and at Donnington, where he benefited from Melandris ego stopping Haslam taking the win (and the double when he brake checked him in the first race).

Therefore, add to this his scrappy behaviour where he took a lot of riders out this year and I think hes underachieved (against his expectations, not his teammates) and should sit lower than 6th.

I dont want the best guys to disappear to Motogp (although Rea is much better than Crutchlow), so hope Honda provides a better bike in future.

A bit off topic fun for Christmas Day. I was in Wilkinsons store and a toy really did catch my eye for a particular reason. It was an Action Man type figure that was a Wilkos own brand but the little guy looks just like Rae. I had to stop and have a little laugh. Have a look next time you are might find yourself having a bit of a giggle too. :)

Blah blah rea crashes too much blah blah.....

The fact is he way out performs the bike so crashes are inevitable his team mates crash too while miles behind him on a good bike he would win this championship without having to take risks

Much better than Crutchlow? Wow, that is some statement. I think most have been pleasantly surprised by Cal's progress, but surely few can deny that he is a class act.

Rea's good, not brilliant in wsbk, let alone Gps. I think he is placed about right, well done crash readers. Let's face it, if he was all that, honda would have him in gps full time. Instead he's slogging it out on an under performing bike, this maybe seen as loyalty or a result of a lack of alternatives...

at the end of the cal didnt do much earth shattering at wsb level, yet has shown what he can do at moto gp. again proving the difference is very little given the time and testing to adapt properly.
