Pedercini Kawasaki announces it has retained Alexander Lundh and added Federico Sandi for its assault on the 2013 World Superbike Championship.

"sufficiently impressing". That should be said of Lundh's monetary backing rather than his unimpressive riding skills. Dude was a backmarker at both World Supersport and Moto2!

shaken: There are two Kawasaki teams - the factory-supported Motocard Provec Kawasaki which is the team where Tom Sykes and Loris Baz ride - and this team, fully privateer Pedercini Kawasaki.

Good for Pedercini to have two riders but it's interesting or a little sad there are only 18 riders in WSB. I guess the low number is due to a limited number of manufacturers and the economy. Nevertheless, this is still the most interesting and exciting motorcycle racing series IMHO.
