I just hope the bike is competitive this year so that jr and lh are not having to over ride the bike as much as has been needed in the last couple of years. Another couple of bikes capable of fighting at the front can only be a good thing !

Did these 2 riders sign a career death with or what?

Is it Ten Kate that needs to pull their fist out of their ass or does Honda put some car engineers to design this bike and its parts?

How can a company so powerful and with unlimited resources build such a POS out of the box?

When aprilia came into WSBK first time out they were up there giving the front runners a run for their money.

Shhhesh Honda! Get your sh1t together! These riders deserve better.

We can probably discount Rea and Haslam as being a credible threat for this year. That bike is WAY past it's sell by date. And, it hardly took the world by storm when it showed up in 2008. It'll be a long year for the pair of them.

Leon must be smarting after his disappointing season last year. Perhaps Melandri has shaken his confidence? still, it's early days and maybe the bike will come around. I mean Ten Kate isn't a shabby team, now is it?

@ Rico

The team name may be Ten Kate but make no mistake it is now a full HRC works team so many of the tech staff are HRC & all of the support/development is being done by HRC.

With that in mind is it any real surprise that HRC are trying out many new parts & electronics to get the best out of the ageing fireblade pending its replacement for next season?

Be interesting to see if HRC 'do a MotoGP Ducati' in WSBK and throw too many new bits without enough testing to try and get an off-pace bike on the pace?

It seems that Ducati had this happen with Rossi / Burgess, and the pressure to perform under the spotlight must had been a big part of that.

Be quite ironic if Honda succumbed to the same pressure, and made the same mistakes Ducati made in MGP in WSBK with the Fireblade.
