He's as much chance as about 6 others of winning it, Manufacturers? Aprilia, Kawasaki, BMW, & the 1500cc Ducati's are all in with a shout.

No harm anyone hoping to work hard, compete and triumph at the end of the season. Surely that's the ambition of at least 10 others. Not sure where the Team leader reference originated from. Who cares.

This year will be very interesting, we will see what was true about the supposed advantages of Biaggi in the Aprilia team. Now both riders are starting from 0 in the eyes of Aprilia. Beating Guintoli first will be vital for Laverty, same as last year in the BMW-garage. The best is that I absolutely can not predict who will be the No1. I would say Laverty might be faster here and there but on the long run I would put my money on Guintoli.

M laverty is a quick rider but it seems people are quick to forget... Eugene has ALWAYS been in the mix for titles all through his career! Sykes, crutchlow and camier are all people that Norge has battled with all his adult life, and half the time he's beaten them! Time will tell :-)

I'd say Melandri and Sykes are probably the top two pre-season title contendors. But nothing's certain at this time and I see no reason Laverty can't take a stab at as long as he can be more consistant.
