WSBK » Checa on pole for Ducati 1199 debut

Carlos Checa proves the Ducati 1199 is already a force to be reckoned with as he cracks the lap record on the way to pole position, ahead of Laverty and Fabrizio.

Totally true....BMW used 3 years to be competetive in WSBK, Kawasaki used 2.....now Ducati uses half a winter. Could not happen in a level playing field of course, same old story again I'm afraid

Sorry but anyone with any knowledge knows ducati has been testing this bike very openly with baylis , hodgson , checa, etc etc in full wsbk form for over two years they just chose not to race it ! Im not a ducati only fan and one of my closest friends rides for a rival front running team . Please dont write things that acuse a team of cheating when you obviously have no actual proof or quite obviously knowledge .

Awesome for Ducati and WSBK to have Checa up there. I know what everyone means by cheating but at the end of the day the Duke is governed by a set of rules and is heavily monitored and scrutinised. Checa and the Ducati combo are the difference as its not an all Ducati front or second row is it?

Here's hoping for a Panigale win first try
