Pata Honda's Jonathan Rea reflects on the electronics woes that have hampered his start to the 2013 World Superbike Championship season.

the ten kate lads do a great job,but the bike hasnt improved enough to be competitive.in relation to the other teams the honda has gotten slower.
the ten kate guys are obviously frustrated,but wasting a whole day telling the HRC guys( that were sent to try and help) that there was an electronics problem when in actual fact it was a rear brake binding issue shows they are maybe not as receptive to others ideas as they should be in their current position.
and cosworth electronics,a car based system that has to be used on a very different way,with technicians that understand the very different challenge bikes and their riders present over cars is very surprising.
dedicated bike systems would have been a far better option.
for me its almost unbeleivable the "honda" wsbk effort is at its current level.
i just hope jonny rea has been well compensated for wasting the most important part of his career in the ten kate team.
he certainly cant complain about it,if he really wanted to d

if he really wanted to do better he would have moved to another team a few seasons ago,so in this case it looks like the money is more important than the winning.
