Jonathan Rea's happiness at finishing fourth in the first race at Motorland Aragon is tempered by more mechanical woes in the second.

Not disrespecting Chas or any of the riders but I think Johnnies ride in race one was unbelievable that Honda was so slow with the exception of the Ducati's there was nothing slower, I know he was lucky to finish forth but the way was he was passed by just about everyone down the straights showed the depth of Johnnies talent.

@Jaybond
Wait till you see the Honda's new MotoGP-inspired WSBK fighter sometime next year...

Ha ha haaaaa.

I've hearing that since they switched from 2 strokes to 4 in Motogp. The reality is that they won't build crap. They'll keep hypnotizing the ignorant to buy their garbage.

Rea is a great rider to watch but the time has come that he himself must take some of the blame for his tough time in WSBK.

Year after year the man keeps signing to ride the heap of poo know as the Tenkate Honda Fireblade and year after year Rea encounters one problem after another with it.

Rea needs to drop the misguided loyalty to Tenkate and Honda and get himself on a bike more derserving of his obvious talent.

Rea should buy himself an Aprilia, learn Italian and go win the championship. Honda have wasted several years of his career stringing him along, a Spanish passport might have helped.
Either the Aprilia or else abduct Pedrosa, exile him to a golf club in the Caribbean, and claim the seat.
There.
Sorted.

Johnny knows in his heart of heartshonda will not provide him with a decent bike and he also knows time is running out for his career but I think he has adopted a Rossi/ducati view, show me the money! Hence the 'positive' view of the bike he constantly protrays. They are obviously paying him an awful lot of money to ride the most out dated pile of crap on the grid. As someone who thinks Rea has total talent I think he should move quickly to another manufacturer and stop embarassing himself!

have to agree with big phil, its a crying shame to see jonnys talent being wasted on that bike.it must be a bitter pill to swallow for the ten kate boys as well.
its easy for us punters to forget racing a bike is a job for these lads (the best job in the world ) and its a short career,so they need to get the money in the bank.
in jonnys case i just hope its enough to compensate for an empty trophy cabinet at the end of his career .
even if the v4 repaces the blade next year it will take some time to get it competitive.
right now they need to swallow their pride and start using proven BIKE electronics, and get some italians in the team to set them up.
cosworth pectel car stuff AINT working.
