Turned on Eurosport to watch the Assen qualifying - Both Eurosport channels - live snooker. Now since when has 2 blokes poking at some balls with a piece of wood been a sport, and why both channels at the same time ? Sorry but non sports such as snooker and darts should have their own channels preferably deep in cyber space.

ducati is learning in front of the world what honda learned over a decade ago in private r&d... the engine-as-stressed-member design is simply inferior to the twinspar frame.

i guess they'll have to get around the bike's shortcomings by upping twin displacement limits to, i don't know... what sounds good to you... 1400cc? sure ok... let's do that

the trellis didnt stop Checa from checking out in 2011. You guys might be surprised to find out how significant the tires play in who wins and who loses, almost to the point of becoming disillusioned by the sad commentary and poor show. WSBK/BSB have some decent commentators though.

Tires are the reason why Checa won in 2011 and didnt win in 2012. They are what determine the setup and who wins and loses in terms of grip, skill helps, but if you cant make the tires last, you will never win, Sykes will win, but only when the conditions exist so that other teams cant maximize their tires and the tire is less of a factor in the overall longevity of the performance during the whole of a race.
