People keep saying more fool jonny for sticking by Honda, which in my opinion is true enough. But what about more fool Honda for throwing good money after bad at a bike that's past it's sell by date.

Great ride, Johnny. Its a pity the Honda engine is not up to the job on the power tracks. Here at Assen the chassis, set up and Rea's skill (of course), were shown to be among the best. I suppose all the Honda budget goes to Pedrosa and Marquez. It shows how much HRC value superbikes......i.e. not at all!

For God's sake, give Jonny a decent bike!!!!! Don't you just feel for this lad? If medals were given out for sheer effort, Jonny would get gold every time! The way he rides the bike, the effort, the hard work he has to endure to get his excuse for a race bike up at the front and stay there is obvious to everyone! I think Honda are putting all their efforts and money into MotoGP so if that is the case and they are not prepared to back WSB, then pull out!Jonny is riding a 2007 bike so it is no wonder he struggles. Imaging if he had a good fast bike under him - he would wipe the floor with the rest of them! All the loyalty Jonathan Rea has shown Honda should be rewarded with a decent bike, if not, then Jonathan needs to walk away and find one elsewhere!

Jonny dragged another against-the-odds result out of the venerable-but-past-it's best Fireblade.
Thinks... "aquitted himself well on Honda GP bike, can get results on a bike that bites it's riders- ideal Ducati GP rider?"
