Carlos Checa is undergoing treatment for a shoulder injury, but will be present for the fourth round of the season at Monza.

shame to hear Carlos has an injury but the Panigale is an abseloute bag of nails even if carlos was fit it isnt working Ducati are letting down a great world champion and the Aprillia riders are now the top Italian bikes. Reminiscent of the Ducati rubbish in Moto GP why change the bikes and then not develop them what a waste.

Sort of agree with you scooter. Carlos is too professional to not have a go,but at Monza on a bike that is lumbered and limited technically by the rules to the extent it is, one wonders why he doesnt take a weekends sick leave.
If you want to see the Panigale's worth as a Superbike, watch STK 1000.
