This is a disgrace. Sykes cut the chicane, he should have let Guinters through. Or should have been handed a penalty. He does not deserve the 3rd place IMO.

How can Sykes keep 3rd place here? Run off the track and not lose a place, hey may as well not worry about keeping on the track, just go straight through on the runoff. Fair enough for Tom not to give up the spot but surely the stewards would look at this???

Racing could not be closer, Melandri seems to be back, Laverty out to prove a point and has done so, mixed fortunes for Davis, Guintoli is probably doing his best to clockin points and perhaps being too carefull while Sykes is becoming a more calculating rider... time will tell

Sykes was already in third when he cut the chicane. As long as he didn'g gain an advantage (which he didn't ) then he was racing with in the rules. Hence he could keep third.

Already? For how long, half a second? I try to respect all people, but British folks always find a good excuse if it concerns their riders ( referring to mister Whitham and Burnicle ).

Disgraceful decision. The only reason sykes got in front of Guintoli was he was going far too fast to make the corner. Surely not right by any stretch of the imagination, particularly when many other riders were penalised
