"It is the ****ing last lap, I don't think anyone would brake earlier than usual, they will be braking as late as possible..... your argument makes no sense Tom!"

Because Melandri was braking early to get a run on Laverty out of the corner perhaps...?

Tom braked to late, because he had made the move on guinters.
Justice is served. The only reason he was in front of Guinters at that point was due to making the move into that corner. Hence the reason why he ran on, braked to late trying to excute the move on guinters.

Great raceing.

braking earlier might have given Melandri a better line through Ascari. Just cause it's the last lap doesn't mean you are braking late, especially if you have the pace to jump on the guy in front of you. Braking late works if you are in front of the guy you want to jump, Melandri was behind the guy he was trying to get down the straight.

*Roggia ... (hands on face)

Sykes would have had third anyways, and Sykes had made the pass before he ran off, having watched it over about 9 times just now I would have to say it would have been nice had Sykes given Sylvain a wheel or two in front, but I think technically Sykes was entitled to keep his position after running off in 3rd place, not intentionally.

I'm a fan of Sykes but does he really believe he got 3rd fairly?fact is he would have crashed or finished nowhere without that run off area.....he made a mistake..ran on then got in silvans way...simple it got an advantage..he should have accepted the penalty instead he has made himself look like a cheat....

Sykes was late on the brakes all race long. Did you see them in race 1 were tom was leading and Melandri behind him end of the straight on S/F. Marco was breaking earlier while he was behind Sykes. Quintoli miscalculated the situation, he prob thought Sykes would penalized..thats why he dropped his pace directly.
