IDk think cts... Guintoli slowed because Tom was still flying through the run-off and wasn't sure where Tom going to rejoin and didn't want to collide . But what if Guintoli HAD passed him? Would Sykes still be gifted third because--as you believe--he did nothing wrong, right? How dare Guintoli pass him because him on track because it's so clear that Tom was just avoiding Melandri.

Also, people won't root for things that are unfair because if Tom win's the championship by a point or two over Guintoli it will be considered tainted and wsbk fans will not celebrate with you. they will just talk about how Guintoli should have won. IMO, It would best for Tom to conceed the points and try to win fairly.

Why didn't guintoli pass him? Do u know, have asked him? If guintoli had passed him and finished 3rd then why would Sykes be gifted 3rd, sorry but don't understand what u mean by that. I'm obviously not the only one that thinks Sykes did everything by the rules, obviously the ppl that matter do too and ppl like u that have no facts just have your opinions.

Are you saying you have access to the sector times that race direction used to determine Sykes should get third? Did you sit in that meeting? I doubt it, so you don't have the answers either. Regardless, the data is only half the equation...we can look at the video and see what happened. My guess is that the data will be thrown out and it will be based on the video when the international agency is called into to review this.

@thick cnt
You are of the minority opinion here so what are you on about? Who cares how proper Toms re-entry to third was? It want his position to begin with. He did not make a "fair" pass and therefore should concede the position. The fact that you can't understand this simple point shows you to have another agenda. That or you're a big fat cheater yourself.

I think I've heard enough nonsense about Sykes Kawasaki not having the top speed to match the Aprilia or BMW!
Has anybody actually watched any SBK race coverage? Have they even bothered to look at recorded Top Speeds on Superpole laps when they have no slipstream?
The Kawasaki engine performance is as strong as anything out there.
Let's not make out that he is an underdog on a poorly performing machine. . . save that term for poor old Johnny Rea on that seriously slow POS!

At the end of the day tom Sykes did not break any rules so he is not a cheat. He was along side guintoli long before tge breaking point into the chicane and gained no advantage by running through the chicane as he lost time on the riders in front. That is how the FIM saw it. Any other rider would have been treat the same. There was a very long meeting sunday night that took place to determine the outcome of this so I guess everything posted on here is irrelevant. Don't think I'll bother reading this crap anymore
