WSBK » WSBK Donington: Effenbert Racing quit championship

'We believe that the continuation of the adventure of the team in the WSBK 2013 is not of our further interest' - team statement

As a previous team owner (competing in a lower class on a national championship, mind) I understand the lack of money defeating the excess of enthusiasm. But world championhips are not club racing and amateurism is only accepted and commended in the latter cases. So Effenberg should reconsider their level. Pity in the end since they managed to pull off some good results.

difficult to deal with...at least i hope really Mark Aitchinson find a ride in that BSB team...

by other part, i understand if last year they decide to finish at end of championship, even when they engage podiums, victories, and good races

...but not all that strange thing...start with 2 riders, bring 2 more, and pull out everyone

re: "as the sponsors and partners have decided to direct the promotional investment in other channels at this time achieve the value economic effort/visibility more appropriate to the volume of investments."

translation: our sponsors have jumped ship for car world football, yacht racing, pedal pushers, or any number of sports that aren't motorbikes.

I hope Mark Aitchison gets a decent ride as he is a good rider.

I would like to see what he could do in BSB on Kiyos bike as Kiyo doesn't seem able to do anything with it anymore.
