WSBK » WSBK Donington: Electronic gremlins surface again for Rea

Jonathan Rea: I tried to turn the traction control off, but it wouldn't turn completely off. It was the worst 23 laps I've ever ridden.

I like Rea.

It really is time that Honda give up the ghost on this model. It is ridiculous that they keep pushing on with minor updates. The bike is past it's sell-by!

Let's see what they bring, I think it will coincide with the "Production Racer" they have been talking about for next year.

Another wasted year for you Johnny and yet you keep on signing for this team year after year. When will you learn that a championship will not be forthcoming for you while at Tenkate.

It is time for Jonathon to give TenKate a deadline to solve this bikes problems or else he will walk away. Two years ago when both Xaus and Rea were injured none of the guest riders could get this bike anywhere near a decent result.
The bike is a dog and TenKate don't know how to fix it.

i think given the right bike rea could win a championship, he is no doubt a class act, and he has that crazy eye look of a fearless rider.

he just needs to stop signing for honda and riding that POS

would love sykes to win this year and johnny next year

I have always been a big fan of Jonathan Rea and watching him struggle like hell at Donington made my heart bleed!! What a waste of an exceptional talent this is and I really don't know what keeps Jonathan in that garage as he is going nowhere fast ! If Honda are happy to carry on like this, then I think it is time Jonathan walked away and put his skills to much better use and showed just how good he is instead of flogging himself into the ground!

Also, couldn't agree more with thegreatnumberseven - get rid of electronics as they are the cause of just about all the problems riders have to contend with. Give us bikes with riders that have full control of them istead of laptops and gadgets that are taking away the magic and the skill that this sport should be about. Jonathan Rea was seen thumping his bike coming over the line in the 2nd race, but if it had been me, I would have taken it into the pits and kicked it to death!!
