He hasn't won a race since Phillip Island, but double podium winner Sylvain Guintoli commands a bigger lead than ever in the overall standings.

And... yes of course, dont worry about winning too many races, there are somany competitive guys upfront pushing the limit it might be too risky, if I was Guintoli I would continue with the Mr Consistency strategy.

The aprilia is pretty much a dog in stock form claimed power 185hp at the crank and many reports that it makes significantly less than claimed. There have been well documented warranty issues, so the low state of tune on the stock bike maybe a cover their ass situation.
In comparison the zx-10r claims 200hp makes regularly just shy of 190hp and the BMW claims 190hp amd has been known to exceeds this sometimes in the real world but I guess the Germans by nature would understate the performance figures so not to bring any doubt to their engineering prowess by being proven wrong

Good job by Laverty to pull out the win but Guintoli needs to get back on the top spot. But the race was fun eventhough he came out 2nd. Without a doubt WSB is the most interesting series and it's nice to see that Suzuki and Ducati are improving maybe we'll have upto 5 marks fighting for a podium and win in upcoming races. Great stuff only wish SpeedTV or similar station picked them up in the States.
