15 starters ?!! . I like WSBK but i'm getting sick these small grids . Laverty needs to go to MotoGP . WSBK is like club racing now . I remember the days of full grids , you had to qualify , 30+ riders on the grid , 15 possible winners . Now it's a joke . Empty grids , empty grandstands .

Jakel. Genuinely interested in why you think he rates himself higher than his team? Has he made some statement somewhere to make you think this. If some of the rumours doing the rounds turn out to be true, then Aprilia do rate him highly. But I hope they take your opinion on board before considering him for moto gp.
Anyway the championship isnt quite over yet. Fair enough He is currently been beaten by Guintolli, but if I was a Team Boss(which I am not and never will be!) I think I would rate the potential/ability to win races fairly high on the list, and this year Laverty has won 6 races and was looking like wining at least one(possibly two) more until mechanical failures.

@Jackel that teammate who has won once to Lavertys 5 and has had a far more DNF's (many from mechincal failures and a few from crashes). If anything that he is this close to Guinters is amazing. (Fan of both of them)

There are plenty of good riders that have been in the WSBK for many years and have still to win one. They are all very good but do not have the best kit .I grew up watching Irish road racing and never saw a rider i disliked . I enjoy it no matter who wins .

I like Eugene, but he has chucked it down the road more than any front runner this year. He's hardly the standout candidate of WSB this season, so not particularly deserving of a seat at the top table (MotoGP).

Eugene Laverty doesn't deserve to be pushed out as he has been riding his backside off all season!! He has had race wins and shown commitment and determination. The bike has let him down several times though or he would be a real title contender. It's a real rat race this carry on as riders don't know from one minute to the next where they will be! Loyalty and dedication obviously don't count.
